You can't just leave furniture outside. Here's the legal way.

Step by step

1. Apply online — Search "대형폐기물" + your district (구) name. Or ask building management.
2. Pay fee — ₩3,000–30,000 depending on item size. Pay online or at convenience store.
3. Get sticker — Print receipt or get sticker from 구청/convenience store.
4. Attach sticker to item and place at designated spot.
5. Wait for pickup — Usually within 3–5 days.

In apartments, the 관리사무소 often handles this for you. Just tell them what you want to throw away and they'll arrange it. Some charge a small service fee.
